We begin our journey with a scenic drive north toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, crossing the lush highlands and enjoying views of Mount Kenya on clear days (approx. 3–4 hours). Arriving in time for lunch at Serena Sweetwaters, we then head out to meet one of Africa’s most poignant conservation stories — the last remaining Northern White Rhinos, protected here under 24-hour guard. It is a powerful and humbling encounter, reminding us why conservation matters. We spend the night at Serena Sweetwaters, surrounded by wildlife and sweeping plains.
The following morning, we set out for an early game drive across Ol Pejeta’s diverse landscapes, home to elephants, lions, rhinos, and abundant plains game. Afterward, we enjoy lunch at the unique Trout Tree Restaurant before beginning our drive back to Nairobi (approx. 3–4 hours), arriving in the late afternoon with lasting memories of an inspiring conservation-focused safari.
