Overview

We kick off our adventure on Day 1 as we depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving just in time to enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by the park’s iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds. Our afternoon is dedicated to immersive game drives along the Tarangire River, the primary lifeblood for the region’s wildlife, before we settle into the elevated comforts of Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for our full-board stay and a sunset over Lake Burunge.

On Day 2, we’ll set out with our packed lunches, traveling through the lush landscapes of Lake Manyara and climbing the Great Rift Valley escarpment toward the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a scenic transit, we’ll check into the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched right on the jagged rim of the world’s largest intact caldera, offering us breathtaking views from our doorstep.

We’ll conclude our journey on Day 3 by descending 600 meters onto the Crater floor for a high-intensity wildlife tour, tracking the “Big Five” and enjoying a unique picnic lunch in the heart of this ancient volcano before we finally make our return journey to Arusha.
