Located on Kendwa Beach and surrounded by lush gardens, Kendwa Rocks Hotel offers rooms and suites with views of the Indian Ocean. It is one-hour drive from Zanzibar Town towards the northern tip of the island. From the beach you see the lighthouse of nearby Tumbatu Island. Sunbathing may be enough, but you can also do snorkeling, diving or fishing and enjoy small boat trips on the turquoise waters. The rooms

There are four theme rooms that are in the same price range.

The Historical Suites and rooms are furnished with Zanzibari antique furniture and their names and design refer to the fascinating history of the Swahili Coast.The Coral Stone Bungalows stand-alone or in pairs, they offer an intimate escape among lush tropical gardens.

The Arabia and Africa Themed Rooms are attached to the main building. The downstairs balconies open towards the central courtyard garden with its waterfall fountain, from upstairs balconies you have views over the whole beach.The Beach House is closest to the beach and right next to the swimming pool. It has suites on all three floors with enough space for a family or group of friends.

The Forest Rooms are our most affordable option. The rooms are situated beside the main building and the upper floor balconies offer sea views.

The Pool Bungalows are the most luxurious option. They have a sundeck and a jacuzzi or a dipping pool and are stylishly appointed with carved wood and shades of blues
