After breakfast transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for the park formalities and briefing on essential guidelines for trekking and gorilla viewing, ensuring both our safety and the well-being of the gorillas.
After the briefing we drive to the starting point of our Gorilla tracking, start our hike towards the gorilla, the guides signal that the gorillas are nearby. The atmosphere shifts as everyone quiets down, the excitement of seeing Gorillas. The group approaches a small clearing, and then, in an instant, the first gorilla appears a massive silverback.
The intimacy of the moment is profound, allowing each person to witness the beauty of these endangered creatures in their natural habitat. After the unforgettable trek, the group heads to Ellen DeGeneres’ camp to learn the story of conservation efforts and the initiatives aimed at protecting the mountain gorillas and supporting local communities
Later in the afternoon after lunch we return to Kigali having created long-life memories.
