After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for the morning flight to Ruaha National Park. We are met by our driver guide and enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge for lunch.  Ruaha is the largest national park in Tanzania. The park has dramatic mountainous scenery and varied topography, ranging from the grass land plains. This makes for fantastic game viewing opportunities, and the park’s isolation means it is considerably less crowded.  Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.

Today we enjoy full day game drives in Ruaha National park with packed lunches. The remoteness of Ruaha gives you the perfect impression of a real safari in wild.  The Ruaha National Park is known for its large elephant and buffalo populations as well as the exceptionally high number of predators found here. Lions are especially abundant in Ruaha, which is said to host the second largest lion population on the planet. This is also a stronghold for endangered African wild dogs, as well as hosting impressive cheetah populations and numerous leopards.

After a breakfast we fly from Ruaha to Selous Game Reserve, the largest conservation area in Africa – arriving in time for lunch. Late afternoon we can opt to go on a thrilling boat cruise where we spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat or embark on a game drive where we will spot interesting birds and plant species. Dinner and overnight Rufiji River camp.

After breakfast we depart for a full day game drive in Selous Game reserve with packed lunch. Selous is noted for its high plant and wildlife diversity and is one of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas in Africa.  Common wildlife sightings include the big five, buffalos, hippos, endangered wild dogs, wildebeest and lions, along with plenty of plains game such as zebras, giraffes and a variety of antelopes. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River camp.

After breakfast we leave for early morning game drives through Selous enroute to the airstrip for our flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam we are met by our driver and transferred to Sea Cliff hotel.
