Chimpanzee tracking in Uganda’s Kibale forest and gorilla tracking in Bwindi makes an unforgettable experience. The Serengeti plains reveal a variety of wildlife with the big 5 being a star attraction.
Upon arrival at the Entebbe airport we are met by a Kibo Slopes Safaris representative for briefing and transfer to Cassia Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we take a quick sightseeing tour of Entebbe and embark on a 5 to 6 hour drive to Kibale Forest. The journey takes us past the outskirts of Kampala through a typical Ugandan countryside with evergreen small scale Farmland to Fort Portal on the Slopes of the Ruwenzori Mountains. We arrive in this commercial center in Uganda’s tea growing zone just in time for a late lunch. After a stroll through this scenic historical town we drive to Kluge’s Guest Farm for our dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, we venture into the Kibale Forest National Park which hosts over 10 species of primates the main attraction being the Chimpanzees. A guide will provide detailed explanations not only on primates, but also on the forest's fauna and flora. This 4hour hike is sure to be informative, enjoyable and is excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. After lunch we visit King Palace the residence of King Oyo who ascended the throne at the age of 3 with the guide to give us the background history of the kingdom. Dinner and overnight at Kluge’s Guest Farm.

Today after an early morning breakfast we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We drive to the southern western Uganda through the rolling green hills, terraced farmlands and amazing views. Along the way we see long horned cattle (Ankole). We have a lunch stop in Mbarara at Igongo Cultural centre and later continue to The Haven Buhoma arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we proceed to the visitor’s reception for a briefing where we’re separated into groups based on which Gorilla family we will be tracking. Then the guide will lead us through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for the giant mountain Gorillas. The trek takes 2-8 hours depending where we find the Mountain Gorillas and once we locate them we have an hour to observe these beautiful primates. After the trek we drive to the southern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park called Ishasha and check in at Ishasha Jungle Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we drive to the northern section of Queen for a brief game viewing to see more animals include lions, over 500 bird species have been identified making it a place for bird watchers these include the 11 different species of kingfisher, eagles, the black bee-eater. We have lunch at Mweya Safari Lodge and then go for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel which takes about 2hours. The water joins 2 lakes Edward and George filled with hippos, buffalos, elephants, crocodiles and birds along the shores. After the cruise we drive to Buffalo Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early morning breakfast, we drive via Mbarara to Bukoba which lies on the shores of Lake Victoria in the north-eastern region of Tanzania. The town is the regional capital of Kagera with a population of well over 100,000 people. Bukoba is one of the largest urban settlements in this part of Tanzania with the second largest port in the country. We are transferred to Bukoba Kolping Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Today we are transferred to the airport for a flight to Mwanza. The city of Mwanza is located on the southern shores of the second largest fresh water lake in the world, Lake Victoria. With a population of more than 700,000, Mwanza is also considered the second largest city in Tanzania and thanks to its location it is a major port city. After lunch in Mwanza town we visit Speke Bay, a Fishing Village by Boat. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay Lodge.

After breakfast we go on a boat ride to a fishing village where we get to interact with local fishermen. After the boat ride we drive to Serengeti with packed lunch– the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife. Game drives on the way, dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge.

After an early breakfast at the lodge we proceed with packed lunch to game viewing. Explore an uncountable number of animals through savannah grasslands, islands in the sea of grass “kopjes”, acacia forests and savannah woodland. Our professional guide is always happy to share with us lots of hidden secrets in the Serengeti, why Serengeti shall never die, how the endless plain was formed and its roles in the great migration. We also get to know why the park was named "Serengeti" instead of its original name 'Siringet" and much more. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge.

Today we leave with packed lunch with game drives on the way to Ngorongoro for relaxing. The Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetah, leopard and rhino, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Dinner and overnight at Lions Paw Camp.

Today we descend over 600 meters into the crater for full day safari tour with packed lunch. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south-western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can be seen here. Dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari lodge.

After breakfast we drive to Arusha city with packed lunch, a city in north eastern Tanzania and the capital of the Arusha Region. We are dropped off at the airport for departure.
