Overview

The lower Omo Valley of southern Ethiopia is home to some of the world’s last unchanged cultural groups. The area is a melting pot of cultures and communities and represents some of the greatest genetic variance on the continent. Many describe the Omo as being the birthplace of mankind. With the help of our guide and local guides we get to know about the different cultures and negotiate for photo shoots. Visiting is a privilege. Each of the tribes in this region has a unique culture and way of life.

This is a very unique cultural photography safari experience, filled with cultural immersion, taking photographs as bystanders, as well as inviting those we meet along the way to do some formal sit-down portraits.
